This summer, we will follow the organic hemp production season at Ferme Aquilon Bio. Located in Chaudière-Appalaches, this family farm has been producing hemp for 3 years and triples this year the area devoted to this plant which grows very well in Quebec ! This plot is particularly abundant but all fields of hemp farm are beautiful this year. The young plants quickly stifled the competition of weeds, the only crucial step at the beginning of the sowing.

At the beginning of August, it is the time of the loves … The male plants (on the right) send in the wind their pollen that the females (on the left) catch on the flight.
